New York –
CBS’ new night-time entertainment chief, who replaced longtime host Dan Rather after he was diagnosed with cancer two years ago, told staff at his daily briefing today to brace for $2.5 billion in cuts as the company faces increasing pressure from Wall Street and investors.
He was grilled by reporters during the afternoon after CBS Chairman Les Moonves and CBS Corp. CEO Les Moonves addressed staff during a meeting at CBS on Monday.
